The Ministry of the Interior, through the Federal Police Welfare and Follow-up Department at the General Directorate for Community Protection and Crime Prevention, recently coordinated a strategic workshop alongside the Ministry of Community Development and the Ministry of Human Resources. The purpose of this workshop was to discuss "Damj community initiative.
The primary objective of the initiative is to enhance the collaborative partnership between the Ministry of Interior and relevant authorities, focusing on integrating target groups through innovative approaches and updated methodologies. These approaches specifically address behavior management, rehabilitation, and recidivism prevention, utilizing electronic police surveillance and community service within the community.
Lt. Colonel Dr. Ali Mubarak Al-Zaabi, Director of the Concerned Department at the Ministry of Interior, elaborated on the project's strategic vision and its alignment with the overarching goals of fostering societal security, safety, and overall quality of life. Additionally, the initiative aims to position the state as a leader and promote its competitiveness by improving security indicators in accordance with established quality standards.
During the workshop, participants exchanged opinions, ideas, and challenges related to the strategic project. The objective was to develop a comprehensive and well-regulated operational framework for the initiative, ensuring that procedures are carried out effectively and that the predetermined goals and outcomes are achieved.
