In the virtual setting, Brigadier General Mohamed Ali Al-Shehhi, the Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior, led the second gathering of the Human Rights Committee. Representatives from police HQs and relevant departments were in attendance.

The meeting centered around the examination of the Ministry of Interior's accomplishments and findings during the national review of the Universal Periodic Report. This report had been presented in Geneva in May 2023. In addition, the committee delved into discussions concerning the Ministry's National Action Plan for Human Rights, as well as other interconnected matters.
