Dhahi Khalfan chairs UAE Police Chiefs Council meeting
The UAE Police Chiefs Council, chaired by HE Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Police and Public Security in Dubai, held a remote meeting with chiefs of police, senior officers, and officials from the Ministry of Interior. The Council addressed several important topics on its agenda and made key decisions.
One of the main discussions was the digital transformation of procedures within the deportation committee, aiming to streamline operations in line with MOI’s significant technological advancements across its vital sectors. This initiative is expected to simplify procedures substantially.
The council discussed the implementation procedures of the Ballistic Identification Network, highlighting its crucial role to UAE’s forensic laboratories.They also reviewed protocols for air accident investigations and efforts to train specialists through virtual simulations, graphics, and maps.
The council was briefed on the efforts of the Communities Committee, their achievements alongside discussions on the process of receiving reports via police stations on mobile devices. Several other topics on its agenda were discussed, making necessary decisions and recommendations.
