MOI'Council in Fujairah discusses enhancing prevention and safety for fishermen
The Law Respect Culture Office at the Ministry of Interior organized an awareness-raising council entitled Precautionary Measures for the Security of Fishermen in cooperation with the Fujairah Foundation for the Development of Areas in the Emirate of Fujairah, in the Al-Bidiya Council, within the popular awareness-raising councils that address a number of vital societal issues that enhance community safety and security.
Major Faris Al-Dari and First Lieutenant Mohammed Al-Mansouri from the Ministry of Interior spoke at the council, which targeted fishermen’s associations in Fujairah, Dibba Al-Fujairah, Murbah, and Al-Bidiya, about the requirements for prevention and maritime public safety, the importance of legal culture with regulations and instructions, scientific knowledge of means of rescue and first aid, and the necessity of providing safety equipment and identifying locations in fishermen’s vehicles and other matters related topics.
