MOI Organizes Community Council on Family and Human Rights in Fujairah

The Office for the Culture of Respect for the Law at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Fujairah Foundation for Regions Development, hosted a community awareness session titled "Domestic Violence and Human Rights Standards" at the Al-Hala Council in the Emirate of Fujairah. Experts explored a range of topics, including the preservation of family unity, effective investment in children's development, and the rights and responsibilities of families. They underscored the importance of parents fostering a nurturing, peaceful family environment to cultivate an informed society and a generation equipped to navigate contemporary challenges, all within the framework of values, principles, customs, and traditions. The speakers also reviewed the legal systems and legislation related to human rights, highlighting the obligations and standards in place to uphold human dignity and protect individual rights. The session featured remarks by Lt. Colonel Moza Al-Kalbani, Civilian Aisha Al-Zahmi from the Community Care Department at the Ministry of Interior, and Dr. Badriya Al-Dhanhani from the Fujairah Social and Cultural Society.
