Hi excellency, Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the President of the UAE and the Chancellor of UAE University, asserted that the UAE policies, under the guidance of the wise UAE leadership, have changed the concept of retirement and turned it into hard work on the state level by supporting retirees in all sectors to continue their career paths, each according to his own vision and personal interests in order to achieve their aspirations.

His excellency's speech came during the retirement forum events which were held in partnership between the United Arab Emirates University and the Ministry of Interior with the attendance of Maj. Gen. Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and a number of senior officials and leaders from both parties in the university campus in Al Ain.

The event witnessed the participation of a number of experts and speakers who showcased experiences and fundamentals of the retirement stage in four main themes.


His Excellency added, "In the UAE, the wise leadership has provided all means of care and a decent life for retirees in order to enable them to start a new life and give them opportunities for self-employment.

For his part, retired Major General Saeed Al Hanaki, former Director General of Finance and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, presented a paper drawn from the model of the system of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which seeks to provide a scientific methodology.

At the end of the forum, the organizers and speakers were honored by His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh, Supreme President of the University, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
