MOI Takes Part in IFBEC Forum
A delegation from the Ministry of Interior, led by Brigadier Walid Al Shamsi, Commander of the Police College, participated in the "International Cooperation Forum in Police Education," organized by the People's Public Security University of China in Lianyungang, China.
Brigadier Al Shamsi emphasized that the forum serves as a key platform for leaders of police academies and colleges to contribute to shaping the future of police education and preparing security professionals to tackle growing global challenges. This is achieved through strengthening international cooperation and fostering dialogue between police institutions, international bodies, experts, and scholars in the field of police training and research. He also highlighted the crucial role of academic, training, and research initiatives undertaken by police colleges worldwide in addressing the challenges of the digital age and combating organized crime.
Brigadier Al Shamsi called for the formation of strong partnerships to cultivate a proactive approach in crime prevention, leveraging digital technologies to build a safer and more secure global community.
