Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services Meets with Deputy Australian Police Commissioner 

Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, welcomed Ian McCartney, Deputy Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police, at the ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the two nations in police and security matters, with an emphasis on the exchange of information to combat transnational organized crime and the formulation of joint strategies to achieve common objectives. The session was attended by Brigadier Mohammed Rashid Al Shamsi, Director General of the Undersecretary’s Office, Brigadier Sultan Ahmed Bouataba Al Zaabi, Director General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, along with other officers from both the Ministry of Interior and the Australian Federal Police.
