Saif bin Zayed Meets with Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Public Security
Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, held a meeting with H.E. Le Quoc Hong, Deputy Minister of Public Security of the Republic of Vietnam. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations and exploring future prospects to fulfill the aspirations of their leaderships. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in security, policing, and efforts to combat transnational organized crime.
The dialogue further highlighted the pivotal role of advanced technologies in enhancing government operations, thereby supporting sustainable development and elevating the quality of life on a global scale. The meeting saw the participation of Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security at the Ministry; Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Federal Drug Control Department at the Ministry of Interior; and several other officers. The Vietnamese delegation included Major General Vo Ngoc Hong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative and Judicial Reforms, Major General Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Police Investigation Agency Office, along with other officers and officials.
