999 Magazine Marks 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad

The 999 Magazine, the social and security culture publication of the Ministry of Interior, commemorated the 53rd Eid Al Etihad with an event titled The Pulse of the Union at the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The celebration was attended by His Excellency Khalil Daoud Badran, Chairman of the Development Committee of the 999 Magazine; Colonel Awad Saleh Saeed, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine; several officers from the Ministry of Interior and the General HQs of the Police; dignitaries; representatives of sponsoring companies; and media professionals.

In his address, His Excellency Khalil Daoud Badran stated: With immense pride and honor, we welcome you to the glorious Eid Al Etihad celebration, where we gather to commemorate the fifty-third anniversary of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates a union that began as a grand vision by the founding fathers, led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and his brothers, the members of the Supreme Council of the Union, the Rulers of the Emirates, who together initiated our nation’s journey of remarkable achievements.

He further remarked: As we observe this significant event, we proudly recall the noble values upon which our nation’s union was established values that have strengthened the cohesion between the people and their leadership, laying the solid foundations for building a modern, civilized state that holds a prestigious position among the countries of the world. This day is not merely a national occasion but a remembrance that embodies pride, loyalty, and allegiance to a wise leadership and a generous people.

On this cherished occasion, His Excellency extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation’s wise leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; and their brothers, the members of the Supreme Council of the Union, Rulers of the Emirates, who have followed in the footsteps of the founding fathers, elevating the UAE’s stature on the global stage a nation striving for excellence across various fields.

His Excellency emphasized that Eid Al Etihad is a cherished occasion that offers an opportunity to renew our commitment to our beloved country and to affirm our continued dedication to preserving the significant achievements of the past five decades. Today, the UAE stands proudly among nations as a symbol of progress and prosperity, owing to the vision of its wise leadership and the determination of its loyal citizens who have tirelessly contributed to nation-building and elevating its flag.

He also expressed gratitude to the sponsors for their unwavering support of 999 magazine’s mission to promote social and security culture, thereby strengthening the relationship between the police and the community, under the guidance of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

His Excellency highlighted that the journey of the UAE is a continuous success story that began with challenges and obstacles, which the founding fathers faced with wisdom and foresight, embarking on a path of progress that has led to global leadership today. He called upon all citizens and residents to continue this journey with hard work and dedication, enhancing the nation’s stature and building a bright future for upcoming generations.

Colonel Awad Saleh Saeed, Editor-in-Chief, noted that under the directives of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and with the oversight of His Excellency Khalil Daoud Badran, Chairman of the Magazine Development Committee, along with the efforts of the magazine’s team, the 999 Magazine has been committed to participating in national events on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. The magazine culminated its participation by organizing this celebration, titled The Pulse of the Union, which brought together officers from the Ministry of Interior and the General HQs of the Police, representatives of sponsoring entities, dignitaries, writers, and media professionals.

During the event, His Excellency Khalil Daoud Badran and Colonel Awad Saleh Saeed honored the companies sponsoring the celebration, as well as several police, governmental, and media agencies, and writers who have collaborated with the magazine and the Police Community supplement in various topics and events.
