A Team from the Traffic Coordination Directorate General and representatives from a number of traffic investigation departments in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in coordination with the Benchmarking Center at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), reviewed the mechanisms and procedures followed for investigating autonomous vehicles’ accidents in the United States of America (USA), the major challenges of the current situation and future solutions to such incidents.
