The Ramadan events competitions, organized by the Police Sports Associatiin in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior's Sports Committee, commenced yesterday evening at the Police College in Abu Dhabi. Various teams representing the general police commands, departments, and sectors of the Ministry participated. 

 The launch was attended by Brigadier General Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Office of HH the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Police Sports Association, alongside Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Association Directorate and Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Interior, accompanied by several officers. The competitions feature the sevens football championship, the (2.4) km running championship, and the (2.4) km walking championship, scheduled to run until the (28th) of March. 

 These sporting events are part of the Police Sports Association and the Sports Committee of the Ministry of the Interior's dedication to promoting various sports programs and activities during Ramadan. They aim to encourage Ministry members to maintain physical fitness, enhance a holistic police personality, and ensure officers' readiness through fair competition among participating teams.
