The Hajj delegation from the Ministry of Interior departed from Zayed International Airport to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. Led by the Hajj and Umrah Committee of the Social Solidarity Fund for Ministry of Interior employees, the delegation includes 50 pilgrims from various ranks of police general HQs and sectors, including both current staff members and retirees. Brigadier General Mohamed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Initiative Committee of the Social Solidarity Fund for Ministry of Interior employees, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Interior leadership and the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments for their extensive support. He prayed for the pilgrims’ safe and blessed journey, and for their return to their homeland and families. Colonel Ahmed Buharoun Al Shamsi, Director General of the Social Solidarity Fund for Ministry of Interior employees, emphasized that under the guidance of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Ministry is committed to community initiatives that enhance employee job satisfaction and foster an atmosphere of happiness and positivity, aligning with strategic goals. He noted that the initiative to send Ministry of Interior employees and retirees to perform Umrah and Hajj is a regular and annual part of the Ministry’s community and solidarity programs. He wished the pilgrims a successful Hajj and a safe return to the UAE.
