The first cohort of entrepreneur leaders graduates
Major General Khalifa Hareb al Khaili, MoI undersecretary attended the graduation of the first cohort of the entrepreneur leaders organized by the youth council at the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Competences General Directorate, delivered to 30 participants from the MoI and Police General Commands.
In attendance were Major General Salem Mubarak al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for resources and support services, Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Damlouj, the SG of the office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, Brigadier Saud al Saadi, DG of protocol and relations, Col. Dr. Omar Ibrahim al Ali, DG of competence development, Major Fadel Mohammed al Shamsi, chair of the youth council at MoI, Major Khaled Mohsen Omar al Hamed, director of the office of project management and joint services, as well as several officers and individuals.
The programs aims to form and train groups of young MoI employees on project management, through providing them with the relevant skills and knowledge to plan, study and assess projects, to support the MoI vision and strategic direction that aim to empower youth and equip them with innovative skills, entrepreneurship and foresight.
The program included several pillars covering methodology to study and plan for projects, quality management in projects, project risk assessment and management, skills to negotiation, convince and influence, design thinking skills, as well as training and practical implementation.
During the closing, Major General Khalifa Hareb al Khaili and Major General Mubarak al Shamsi were briefed about the presented projects, then a group photo was taken with the graduates.
