It is celebrated on the second of December each year in the United Arab Emirates, marking the anniversary of the federal unification of the seven emirates in 1971. The ultimate goal held by our founding leader the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, was to unify the UAE, realize its progress and people's welfare.
