The Ministry of Interior, represented by its Center for Crime Prevention, organized a community forum themed "Be Aware" to boost awareness in safeguarding young individuals from various threats, instill a legal understanding of juvenile offenses, shed light on state institutions' efforts in raising awareness, and implement rehabilitation and reintegration programs into society.
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Mohamed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Minister of Interior's Office, Brigadier Sultan Buataba Al Zaabi, Director General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, along with several local and national partners including the Ministry of Education, Irada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai, Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and Zayed University participated in the forum. The discussion, moderated by journalist Fahd Abdullah Heikal, delved into topics concerning legal protection for juvenile delinquents, the role of rehabilitation centers in the UAE, and the significance of state institutions in safeguarding young people, including addressing behaviors linked to crime within schools.
