MOI Displays Latest Innovations and Modern Tech at the World Police Summit
The Ministry of Interior is actively participating in the World Police Summit, hosted in Dubai under the organization of the Dubai Police General HQs. The summit will run until Thursday, May 1, and brings together broad international representation, with leading institutions and specialized experts in policing from over 100 countries worldwide.
As part of its participation, the Ministry is presenting a wide array of advanced technological projects and pioneering initiatives designed to enhance community safety and preventive security efforts. These include the Hemayati application, the deployment of K9 units for digital evidence detection, the E-Police in Your Mobile service, the Ikram Alrahlin service (honoring the deceased), the Smart Examiner Vehicle, the Research and Development Center’s integrated system, the Smart Safety Bracelet initiative, the Police Exchange Program, the Preparedness and Readiness Guarantee initiative, the Electronic Business Continuity System project, the Arrest System, the Certificate Attestation Service, alongside other collaborative and international endeavors that reaffirm the UAE’s position at the forefront of global policing and security innovation. The Ministry has also introduced a series of creative competitions aimed at engaging summit visitors and participants.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior is conducting a number of specialized training workshops throughout the course of the summit, with Ministry-affiliated experts contributing to panel sessions featured at this premier international platform for security and public safety. Among its key contributions, the Ministry organized an advanced training course focused on disaster preparedness fundamentals tailored for individuals with disabilities; a panel discussion under the Safe Communities Forum entitled Building Bridges of Communication between Communities; and a dedicated workshop for seaport experts, with the involvement of specialists from the Ministry and participating nations.
Colonel Abdulrahman Al Tamimi, Deputy Director General of International Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, took part in a session addressing enhanced law enforcement support for people of determination. Additionally, Colonel Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al Zarouni, Director of the International Police Representation Department, contributed to a panel titled The Invisible Threat: Expanding the Global Response to Transnational Environmental Crime.
