This statement was made by Khalfan while chairing the remote meeting of the Council of Police Chiefs. The meeting was attended by police chiefs, senior officers, and officials from the Ministry of Interior.
One of the topics discussed by the Council was the procedure for issuing permits for drones by the Ministry of Interior, in compliance with airspace regulations and laws. The Council also emphasized the need for coordination among relevant authorities to regulate and maintain an inventory of drones and their operators in various police sectors within the ministry.
