MOI Conducts “Shield of Hope” Exercise With Relevant Bodies

The Ministry of Interior’s Anti-Human Trafficking Committee, in collaboration with the Security Scenarios Department and the General Directorate of Human Rights at Dubai Police, carried out a specialized security exercise titled Shield of Hope. The exercise focused on combating human trafficking and safeguarding victims, with the participation of multiple government entities.

Representatives from the Public Prosecution, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, national shelters, and several police and security agencies took part. The initiative aimed to bolster coordination, foster integration, and encourage the exchange of expertise among partners.

The Security Scenarios Department provided guidance and safety protocols, followed by a live simulation of a hypothetical trafficking case. Participants discussed best practices and collaborative measures to ensure a unified response, in line with the UAE’s National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking.
