MOI Holds Workshop on the “Salama” Traffic Initiative

The Ministry of Interior, through the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, organized a workshop on the Salama Initiative in coordination with the General Directorate of Federal Traffic Coordination and the traffic and patrol departments of police general HQs as well as organizational units nationwide.

Colonel Dr. Ali Mubarak Al Zaabi, Director of the Federal Police Care and Follow-up Department at the Ministry of Interior, presented the initiative’s objectives and strategic outcomes linked to the Ministry’s indicators and objectives. He emphasized that the aim of the Salama Initiative is to raise community awareness about public safety and traffic prevention.

He highlighted that the initiative is centered on implementing community service activities for perpetrators of serious violations, with the purpose of reducing risks and safeguarding lives and property. The initiative is grounded in an innovative, sustainable, and proactive approach designed to achieve the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.
