MOI participates in the Mining Show

The Ministry of Interior took part in the two-day international exhibition, The Mining Show, hosted in Dubai. The event saw broad international participation from institutions and companies focusing on the civil explosives sector, including construction, demolition, mines, crushers, and various civil applications.

Within the exhibition, the Ministry showcased pivotal technologies, regulations, and safety measures concerning the utilization, transportation, and secure handling of civilian explosives. Additionally, the presentation highlighted the Ministry's significant practices in these domains.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior took part in a workshop titled, The Future is Now: How the UAE’s quarrying industry is adopting data and digital technologies to improve safety and efficiency in drilling and blasting. The session featured experts from the Ministry of Interior, as well as representatives from Spain, the UK, Germany, and China.
Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Mansouri, Commander of the Special Security Forces and Director of the Weapons and Explosives Directorate, emphasized that the Ministry's involvement in this international exhibition reflects its commitment to fortify local and regional partnerships in the realm of enhancing security and safety for society. He highlighted collaborative efforts with government and civil agencies in the explosive uses sector, emphasizing the Ministry's role in advancing prevention and security in civil fields through development and modernization.
