Saif bin Zayed Visits the Traffic and Licensing Center in Ajman

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visited today morning (Tuesday) the Traffic and Licensing Service Center at Ajman Police General Headquarters. His Highness Sheikh Saif congratulated the Ajman Police General Headquarters, administrative staff and employees of the center for being ranked among the best five centers of 600 centers at the UAE level. His Highness also unveiled the five star board granted to the center as per the Global Star Rating System for Services.

Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, along with general directors, heads of departments and a number of Ajman Police officers received His Highness Sheikh Saif at the center. Brigadier Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Office of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior accompanied His Highness during the visit.

His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior congratulated the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police and all staff at the headquarters for the milestone that will be added to the achievements made by Ajman Police and its excellence in serving customers. His Highness emphasized that this ranking was made possible by the ongoing endeavors and sincere efforts to achieve customer happiness through the best services that meet their expectations.

During the visit, His Highness the Minister of Interior reviewed the facilities at the center, and hailed the efforts of the employees and their excellence in providing service. His Highness noted that customer service has become a tool to measure the level of advancement and excellence of the UAE and its keenness to provide services as per the best global practices in a positive environment. His Highness called for making more efforts to continue developing and enhancing work at the Ajman Police service centers, and promote the smart transformation of services in order to ensure the happiness of customers and serve the nation.

His Highness Sheikh Saif reviewed the recently established operation room at the Traffic and Licensing Services Center that is connected to the main operation room at the headquarters and to the surveillance cameras in roads. The new operation room is supported by the Geographic Information System (GIS) for roads which connects is to the Municipality and Planning Department, and allows surveilling roads, speed cameras, and accident and field work analysis. It also allows the follow up of the employees’ performance, the number of completed service, and service time as per a five star rating standards.

The Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police expressed the deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. He thanked His Highness for his visit to the center, his unlimited support to developing the police headquarters and their service centers, stressing that this visit is an honor and a motivation to give more.

He explained that the center includes 32 employees who provide service and who all obtained the Customer Happiness Diploma issued by the Prime Minister's Office. He expressed his pride of the employees at the center, and the distinguished level they achieved in providing services in order to increase the levels of customers’ satisfaction and happiness. He stressed that the service employees are the forefront of the police forces and the bright image that reflects the excellence and leadership of Ajman Police. He added that providing quality service to customers reflects positively on the levels of happiness and wellbeing in the society, and winning this ranking by the center is the result of the wise leadership in developing the capabilities and skills of service employees.

For his part, Lt. Colonel Sultan Khalifa bin Hareb, Head of the Traffic and Licensing Center at the Ajman Police noted that the center is keen to optimally utilize technical resources. These resources are used to streamline procedures, achieve customers’ happiness and provide them with the best services through the smart application and the website of the MoI and Ajman Police, as well as via service devices inside and outside the center.

He noted that the most common service is the service of opening a traffic file, traffic fines payment and amendment on the vehicle’s registration data. He stressed that Ajman Police will make all possible efforts to increase the level of smart transformation and achieve customers’ happiness and wellbeing in a way that exceeds their expectations.
