Maj. Gen. Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary of the MoI for Resources and Support Services, inaugurated today, Monday, the Burjeel Center in the Marina Mall, which provides specialized treatment services to employees of the MoI.
The inauguration of this integrated medical center comes in accordance with a memorandum of understanding signed between the MoI and Burjeel Medical Group to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the areas of providing medical care.
The center is a specialized mini-hospital that provides all forms of medical care from various specialties, contains equipment and devices for the necessary examinations, and provides medical treatments, consultations, and various medical services.
Maj. Gen. Al Shamsi confirmed that the Ministry is keen to develop community partnerships with all national institutions and bodies in order to achieve the strategic objectives.
He pointed out that the inauguration of this medical center is the result of the agreement with the prestigious national institution, Burjeel Group, in order to enhance the services provided to members and retirees and provide medical and health care of high quality.
