MOI Convenes First Consultative Workshop on Juvenile Institution Policy
Reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding society and enhancing the juvenile care and rehabilitation system, the Ministry of Interior, through the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention, represented by the Juvenile Institution Department, and in collaboration with the Policy Department, convened the first consultative workshop on the Juvenile Institution Policy.
The session took place at the Ajman Police Sports and Shooting Club with active participation from stakeholders across Social Support Centers and specialized departments within the Ministry.
The workshop is part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to establish integrated and effective policies for the care and rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents and those vulnerable to delinquency. It aims to elevate service quality, provide a safe and nurturing environment, and promote successful reintegration into society in alignment with international best practices.
As a constructive consultative platform, the workshop brought together experts and representatives from various sectors to unify perspectives, exchange knowledge, and collaborate on shaping future-oriented policies that strengthen social cohesion, safety, and stability.
