The second bilateral meeting between the two Ministries of Interior of the UAE and of the sisterly State of Qatar discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the police fields and the course of the traffic fines linking project within a Gulf initiative to link all countries of the GCC with a technical system for this purpose.
This came in the meeting of the UAE delegation headed by Brig. Gen. Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Ahmad, Deputy Director General of the Federal Criminal Police, with a delegation of the State of Qatar headed by Brig. Gen. Mohammed Abdullah Al Shahwani, Director General of Traffic, and in the presence of officers from the Ministries of Interior in the two brotherly countries.
The two parties stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation including the achievement of strategic goals, and the development of work in an institutional manner based on best applied practices and modern applications.
The two sides also reviewed the list of electronic services, the data dictionary and technical documents between them, in addition to conducting experiments and tests for services related to traffic violations, which were successfully completed.
Efforts and meetings are continuing to launch the project as soon as possible, which is expected to be completed in a standard manner according to the vision of the technical teams between the two parties, in light of the acceleration of experiences between the two countries leading to the launch and inauguration of the project.
