Saif bin Zayed meets in Tunisia with a number of heads of delegations participating in the meetings of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers
Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with a number of Their Excellencies and Highnesses, Ministers of Interior and heads of delegations participating in the meetings of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, in the Tunisian capital, within the framework of enhancing joint Arab work and coordination.
His Highness met separately with His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al Sabah, Minister of Defense of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Mazen Al Faraya, Minister of Interior of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Excellency Major General Imad Al Trabelsi, Acting Minister of Interior of Libya, and His Excellency Mohamed Ait Ouali, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the League of Arab States, and Head of its Delegation to the meetings of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, held in Tunisia.
During the meetings, emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening joint Arab action based on common foundations, values, interests and a single destiny, and the need to unify the word and cooperate in order to enhance security to achieve Arab interests, support the path of sustainable growth, and achieve prosperity for Arab countries and peoples.
A number of topics related to current Arab, regional and international developments, their impact on the security environment of the Arab region, and the most prominent current and future security challenges were also discussed.
