Saif bin Zayed Holds Talks with Swedish Minister of Justice

Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with His Excellency Gunnar Str mer, Minister of Justice for the Kingdom of Sweden, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance cooperation in the security fields and combating organized crime and cybercrime, in addition to discussing the importance of using advanced technologies in light of the challenges of the security environment at the regional and international levels, in a way that enhances the climate of security and stability in societies.

The discussions were attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director of the Special Tasks Sector at Abu Dhabi Police; and several senior officers from the Ministry of Interior.

Also present were His Excellency Fredrik Florin, Swedish Ambassador to the UAE; Anna Karin Svensson, Director General of International Affairs at the Swedish Ministry of Justice; Ashraf Ahmed, Director of the Swedish Central Authority at the Ministry of Justice; Karin Hanriksson, Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Justice; and other officials.
