Al Khaili launches the World in a Thousand Mile Journey Classic and Rare Car Parade.
The Ministry of the Interior celebrated the 51st National Day of the United Arab Emirates, officers and employees of the Ministry expressed their sincere pride on the occasion, renewing their loyalty to the country's leadership, government and people by remaining loyal soldiers in order to enhance security and consolidate stability.
On this occasion, the Ministry's employees raised their warmest congratulations and gratitude to the wise leadership of the UAE, renewing their allegiance and loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al-Kashf, Member of the Federal National Council, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant MOI Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, and Major General Abdulaziz Maktoum Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director General of Preventive Security MOI and other senior officers.
The ceremony, which began with the national anthem, included a visual show showing a side of the civilized march of the Emirates, and patriotic poems presented by a number of officers, in which they expressed feelings of pride in this national occasion, as well as giving speeches on the occasion followed by performance by the police band and the National band, and a performance by Schools in Abu Dhabi, after which retirees were honored in a touch of loyalty and appreciation for their giving.
Al Khaili and the audience watched a horse show, and the opening of the exhibition accompanying the events, which includes heritage exhibits and popular dishes that show an aspect of the ancient history of the Emirates.

On the sidelines of the MoI’s Celebrations of the UAE’s 51st National Day, Major General Khalifa Hareb al Khaili, MoI Undersecretary, launched the Thousand Mile Journey Classic and Rare Car Parade. Cars will travel this distance within the UAE, starting from Dubai, passing by local tourist and historic sites, ending in the capital Abu Dhabi, in an international event to be attended by people from different nationalities, aiming at showcasing the UAE’s cultural heritage and geographically and ecologically diverse touristic sites and lifestyle, through this international cultural and sport event, in which the MoI is taking part, both as organizer and parade security.
