MOI participates in Fourth Abu Dhabi Family Forum
The Ministry of Interior joins the Fourth Abu Dhabi Family Forum with a dedicated pavilion, organized by the Family Development Foundation under HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s patronage. As the Mother of the Emirates, President of the General Women’s Union, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, she leads under the slogan A cohesive family... a sustainable society.
The event, hosted on Al Hudayriat Island in Abu Dhabi, runs until December 15. The Ministry’s participation in the forum aligns with its commitment to strengthening community partnerships and actively contributes to activities emphasizing community security, safety, and comprehensive sustainable development goals. The goal is to exchange innovative ideas, enhance community cohesion, and introduce community members to the Ministry's distinguished services.
The program spans the forum's days, featuring lectures, educational workshops, and interactive competitions. Various Sharjah Police General HQs and Ministry departments participate, including the General Directorate for Community Protection and Crime Prevention, Law Respect Culture Office, Federal Social Support Department, General Directorate for Drug Control, Ministry of Interior Center for Child Protection, Smart Programs and Solutions Department, General Directorate for Traffic Coordination.
The Law Respect Culture Office showcased its interactive platform in the Ministry's pavilion, an educational game for children aged 6 to 14. Featuring stations like the Law Respect Culture station, addressing educational questions about the Charter of Positive Digital Citizenship Values and Behaviors, and the Professional Investigator station, focusing on security and societal issues. The Sharjah Police General HQs presented the interactive platform Be Aware, serving as a direct communication channel to enhance security awareness through innovative images at various stations, introducing methods of prevention and protection from electronic crimes.
