The Government Accelerators Team at the Civil Defense General Command held its regular meeting in the presence of Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Firefighting, Protection and Safety Affairs, along with the head and members of the team from police headquarters and civil defense officers.

The meeting reviewed the Government Accelerators Implementation Plan at the level of reginal civil defense departments, as well as activities that were executed recently.

The meeting also reviewed the General Directorate of Civil Defense Ajman experience in reaching out to all demographic segments and educating them, and the impact of such steps in ensuring safety and protecting lives and properties. It also witnessed brainstorming on outcomes with the partners of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Sharjah in relation to the challenges related to competencies needed in the accelerators, and the solution provided in this regard.

The participants discussed the federal awareness plan and its recommendations by focusing on evacuation procedures in the event of accidents, and the behaviors that should be adopted by targeted groups at the time of accidents.
