Every martyr is an epic of patriotism in his own right, providing a shining example for the sons and daughters of this nation.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has designated 30 November as the annual day of commemoration of martyrs, and a way to recognize and commemorate the sacrifices, benevolence and generosity of the martyrs and sons of this nation who gave their lives to ensure that the flag of the United Arab Emirates remains flying high by fulfilling their duties toward their country at home and abroad in civil, military and humanitarian fields.
