Announcing the launch of a project to link and exchange traffic violations between the UAE and Bahrain
Today, in a meeting of the Joint Security Committee between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, the announcement of the bilateral linkage of traffic violations between the two countries within a Gulf technical system that enhances cooperation and coordination between the GCC countries and works to enhance the services provided.
The UAE delegation was headed by Maj. Gen. Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the MoI, while the Bahraini side was headed by Lt. Gen. Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in both police and security fields, including activating regulations and joint linkages in criminal systems.
The importance of continuing meetings and joint work between the various committees and sectors of the Ministries of Interior between the UAE and Bahrain was emphasized in order to achieve the strategic objectives and interests of the two countries and to advance the joint Gulf work system.
Moreover, it was announced during the meeting that the system for linking traffic violations between the two countries would be completed and launched within an integrated Gulf project, after the completion of meetings and committees, and the work of technical teams in selecting networks, the exchange of documents and requirements for linking services, the trial of the system, and finally the launch stage today.
The meeting was attended by Maj. Gen. Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, and a number of officers from the UAE and Bahraini Ministries of Interior.
