Dubai Islamic Bank made a charitable contribution through its donation to the Al-Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior in the amount of (5,000,000) five million dirhams in support of the Farajat initiative, which contributed to the release of (90) financially insolvent inmates and convicts in penal and correctional institutions nationwide Thid comes on the occasion of the Blessed Month Ramadan and on Zayed Humanitarian Work Day.

His Excellency Khalil Dawoud Badran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dubai Islamic Bank for their continuous giving in supporting the achievement of the goals of the Al-Faraj Fund, which seeks to facilitate the financial distress of inmates and ease the burden on their families, in a way that contributes to consolidating the values of giving and community solidarity of Benevolence and Giving.

For his part, Mr. Nawaf Al Raisi, Head of Community Support Services at Dubai Islamic Bank, stressed the keenness to support the progress of the Al-Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior through continuous joint initiatives aimed primarily at enhancing solidarity work and supporting charitable and giving projects, stressing that the Farajat community initiative comes within the framework of these efforts.
