Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, honored the Subcommittee for Investigations into Money Laundering Crimes in the UAE. This subcommittee, chaired by the Ministry of the Interior, is part of the National Committee to Combat Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and Illegal Organizations. The honor was in recognition of the subcommittee's role in achieving national goals.
Sheikh Saif expressed his appreciation for the committee’s dedicated efforts in strengthening the UAE's fight against financial crimes. He acknowledged their significant contributions to the National Committee's work, including submitting reports, and their cooperation and coordination with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), which has bolstered the country’s position in combating money laundering.
The ceremony was attended by HE Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, HE Lt. General Abdullah Al Marri, Chief of Dubai Police, HE Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, and several Ministry of Interior officers.
