MOI marks International Youth Day

The Ministry of Interior, through its Youth Council, marked International Youth Day by hosting a series of events centered around this year's theme: digital empowerment of youth and its impact on achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This year's celebration aligns with the adoption of the National Youth Agenda 2031, which aspires for Emirati youth to become prominent role models both locally and globally, in areas such as thought leadership, values, and national contribution. The goal is for the UAE to be among the top 10 countries where youth enjoy a high quality of life.

On this day, the Ministry of the Interior organized a series of events, where the Ministry of Interior Youth Council held a virtual conference to support the digital empowerment of youth, and in conjunction with this, the General Administration of Protocol and Relations organized a symposium on the efforts of scientific efforts and youth innovations in the field of development, the role of digital youth paths in development and their efforts, Dr. Shamma Hamdoun. Al-Naqbi, Associate Dean of Rabdan Academy. The Law Familiarity Office in the General Administration for Community Protection from Crime at the Ministry of Interior, and in cooperation and coordination with the Youth Foundation, organized a number of youth interactive workshops under the title Positive Citizenship is a National Duty in representative centers in the Ajman Center, Youth Center, Youth Center. Falaj Al Mualla, Ras Al Khaimah Youth Centre.


The Youth Council organized these events in collaboration with various police departments to highlight the importance of youth involvement and their creative contributions. These initiatives aimed to enhance institutional work, empower exceptional young talents within the ministry, align with future trends, identify challenges, propose solutions, and launch initiatives that support the ministry’s objectives.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Interior's youth expressed their confidence and hope in their ability to contribute effectively to the UAE's efforts, guided by its visionary leadership, in achieving its goals and enhancing its global reputation and competitive standing. In addition, the Ministry of Interior hosted a symposium on the role of scientific institutions and youth innovations in advancing digital pathways for sustainable development.

The Ministry of Interior and the Federal Youth Foundation organize interactive workshops on positive citizenship coinciding with International Youth Day

In the youth interactive workshops organized by the Law Respect Culture Office under the title Positive Citizenship is a National Duty in cultural centers represented by the Ajman Youth Center, the Falaj Al Mualla Youth Center, and the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Center, the document on values and behaviors of the Emirati citizen that was approved by the Council of Ministers was introduced. The most important goals and characteristics that it includes, in addition to the concept of positive citizenship, and its dimensions and images represented by the homeland, family, society, morals, and general behavior. Major Maryam Al-Shehhi and Captain Issa Al-Kaabi from the Law Respect Culture Office participated in presenting the workshops.
