The Police Academy received two cohorts of university graduates, the 34th for males and 18th for females to join the Academy. They were received by Brigadier Walid Salem al Shamsi, Commander of the Police Academy, Directors and heads of departments, the director of the university graduates cohort, and the trainers from the Academy. Brigadier al Shamsi underlined the Police Command attention given to deliver to the nation a wealth of national cadres equipped with education and knowledge, to maintain national achievements and enhance the security journey.

Al Shamsi further emphasized that this was indeed a day to be celebrated for the Academy is receiving a new cohort of nationals who have completed their university degrees, and who were provided by the Academy with all the needed means while they were completing their studies and training.

The commander of the Police Academy explained that everything was made ready and available, training and habilitation staffs were fully prepared to enrich the lives of students during this period of joining the academy.

In conclusion, His Excellency commended the Academy divisions for their services to students, wishing them all success in their endeavors.

The joining of these two cohorts is in line with the MoI vision to attract university graduates and specialists in various disciplines to contribute to maintaining security and stability in all regions of the UAE.
