MOI Honors 18 Outstanding Staff Members in Basic Specialized Courses

The Ministry of Interior honored 18 outstanding staff members who excelled in basic specialized courses during a ceremony held at the Ministry's headquarters. The event was attended by H.E. Major General Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, Brigadier Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, Director General of Competency Development, and several senior officers and officials.

The honorees were recognized for their achievements in courses conducted at the Institute of Police and Technical Sciences. These programs included traffic management, correctional and penal institutions, criminal investigation, and operations rooms. The courses were delivered in accordance with the Security Qualifications System and the standards of the National Qualifications Authority, with participants earning accredited academic credit hours based on the requirements of each course. Their success reflected the active participation of members from various police leaderships and military ranks, who demonstrated exemplary dedication, professionalism, and commitment in completing the foundational courses.

This recognition reflects the Ministry’s commitment to supporting talent, enhancing competencies, and motivating staff to excel across security and administrative fields, thereby promoting continuous development and improving institutional performance.

Major General Salem Ali Al Shamsi commended the honorees’ achievements, noting that this group of promising professionals serves as a model of diligence and excellence. He stated, The Ministry of Interior places great importance on developing human capacity and refining the skills of its members, strengthening the readiness of the police and security system to face current and future challenges.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major General Al Shamsi personally honored the distinguished staff members, expressing pride in their dedication and contributions, and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in service to the nation.
