MOI Organizes the “Integrated Legal Skills” Course
The General Directorate of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Institute of Police and Technical Sciences, organized a training course entitled Integrated Legal Skills from September 22 to 26, 2025, at the Ministry of Interior HQs. The course was attended by several of the Ministry’s departments and legal affairs units within the country’s police general HQs. It comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to develop the legal capabilities of its employees, ensure they keep pace with the latest developments in legislation and legal administration, and contribute to greater performance efficiency and the objectives of legal work.
The course, supervised by the Department of Legal Studies, Research and Follow-up, aimed to enhance familiarity with the legislative system and the principles of the legislative cycle. It also sought to strengthen skills in providing legal advice, persuasion, argumentation, and case analysis, as well as interpreting and analyzing legal texts, while introducing modern trends in the field of legal affairs.
Delivered by legal officers from the General Directorate of Legal Affairs, the program covered several topics, including an introduction to law and general legal skills, the legislative structure of decisions and regulations, the elements of legal consultation and the provision of legal opinions, legal interpretation and analysis, legal research and adaptation, companies, and memoranda of understanding. The course also addressed the digital transformation of legal administration operations.
