MOI rolls out two programs to sponsor innovators in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government

The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, has introduced a range of academic and professional initiatives aimed at nurturing innovators. These include the Master's Program in Innovation Management and the inaugural edition of the Executive Diploma for Innovation Leaders in Dubai. The launch event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, Lieutenant Colonel Engineer Rashid Khalfan Al Kindi, Director of the Ministry of Interior’s Center for Innovation, as well as several Ministry officials and members of the college’s administrative and educational teams.

These initiatives are integral components of the Ministry of Interior's efforts in fostering innovation, in conjunction with its partners, particularly the Ministry of Interior Innovation Center under the purview of the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development. These endeavors align with the National Innovation Strategy, which strives to position the UAE as one of the world’s foremost innovative nations. Given that leadership and innovation are core values of the Ministry of Interior, these programs were meticulously crafted to propagate and embed the culture of innovation. They equip participants with the necessary skills, tools, and methodologies, commencing from ideation to the attainment of tangible outcomes.

The programs are designed to empower participants by acquainting them with cutting-edge concepts and educating them on innovative tools. They adhere to global best practices, featuring carefully selected materials and references that harmonize with contemporary work systems and dovetail with various government transformational initiatives and projects at the national level.

Each program participant is entrusted with the task of conceiving an innovative and implementable project, complete with a well-defined plan. The ultimate objective is to leverage the knowledge and skills acquired through these programs to craft and execute distinctive innovations, positioning the UAE at the pinnacle of global leadership in police and security work.
