Supreme Committee for Internal Security Discusses Key Strategic Projects and Initiatives
During its periodic meeting, chaired by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, the Supreme Committee for Internal Security reviewed several strategic projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening security, enhancing public safety, and achieving critical performance indicators.
The meeting, held remotely via video conferencing, focused on efforts to bolster the sense of safety within the community and meet key operational targets. The session saw participation from police general HQs across the country, representatives of various police commands, senior directors, committee members, and high-ranking officers from the Ministry of Interior.
Key topics covered during the meeting included the evaluation of internal security exercise plans and the progress of their implementation across the different police commands. Discussions also addressed coordination with strategic partners and the continuity of operations to ensure the delivery of top-tier services to the community. Additionally, the committee reviewed the Ministry of Interior’s future programs and initiatives, aimed at achieving its strategic objectives in enhancing national security and public safety. The meeting also revisited previous decisions and recommendations, alongside other agenda items.
