Saif bin Zayed meets Uzbek Minister of Interior

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met in Abu Dhabi with Lieutenant General Bobojonov Bulat Razakovich, Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The discussions focused on various shared interests, exploring avenues to bolster collaboration in police and security domains between the two nations. Subsequently.

His Highness and the distinguished minister inked a memorandum of understanding concerning the recognition and exchanging of driver's licenses between the UAE and Uzbekistan.
This signing reflects the profound relations between both countries, aiming to streamline the mobility of driving license holders during visits and residency of citizens from either nation. The memorandum entails the reciprocal acknowledgment of driving licenses from the UAE and Uzbekistan, allowing exchange without the need for the computer and road tests. This facilitates the movement of license holders during their stay or visit.

The meeting at the UAE Ministry of Interior were attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry, Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Smart Services and Digital Security, Brigadier Dr. Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development, along with other Ministry officials.

On the Uzbek side, attendees included Ambassador Abdulaziz Uralbayovich Agulev, Colonel Jumanov Tolkin Satarović, First Deputy Head of the Department of Educational Affairs and Personnel Supply at the Ministry of Interior, along with various officials and officers from the Ministry of Interior.
