MOI and Juvenile Awareness and Welfare Association raise awareness on juvenile delinquents issues

The Law Respect Culture Office, part of the General Directorate for Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the Ministry of Interior, collaborated with the Juvenile Awareness and Welfare Association to organize an awareness program.
This program targeted two groups: juveniles themselves and social workers responsible for their care and supervision. Held at the headquarters of the Community Care Department in the Emirate of Fujairah, the event featured educational lectures delivered by specialists. The focal point of the program was "Cases of Juvenile Delinquents. Dr. Saif Al-Jabri, a member of the Association’s Board of Directors, elucidated on the concept of juveniles and their legal responsibilities. He also detailed the measures taken against juvenile delinquency and the procedures for handling their cases. Additionally, Professor Heba Mohamdd Abdel Rahman, an educational consultant, tackled essential topics concerning juvenile rehabilitation. She explored methods for assessing their behavior and personal compatibility, emphasizing the significance of identifying their actual needs to facilitate their reintegration into society.
