1.The applicant is required to have an ID card issued in the UAE (for citizens and residents).
2.The applicant is required to have a valid passport registered (for both categories of visitors and GCC nationals), with completion the fingerprint procedure related to the application.
3.Log in with the digital ID (UAE PASS) to request a criminal clearance certificate via the smart application or the website of the Ministry of Interior (for citizens, residents and GCC nationals and visitors).
4.The criminal clearance certificate is issued in Arabic and English only.
5.The fees for issuing a criminal clearance certificate is non-refundable after submitting the application.
6.The certificate is issued according to the customer's data for the period of his residence (for residents) or for the period of his visit (for visitors and GCC nationals) in the United Arab Emirates.
7.Certificates issued for use abroad need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
8.The certificate is issued in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. (600) of 2024 regarding the regulation of the issuance of criminal clearance certificates.
9.The validity period of the issued certificate is 30 days from the date of issuance.
