Captain Musallam Al Derei of MOI gave a lecture in Chinese at the Chinese School in Dubai, in which he dealt with applications and programs to protect children and safeguard their rights carried out by the Ministry, organized by the Security Media Department and MOI Center for Child Protection.

The lecture touched on the Hemayati program provided by MOI, the Wadeema law, ways and means of reporting child abuse, such as the hotline (116111), as well as topics related to MOI’s projects and initiatives in protecting children and society groups.

The lecture was very well received by the administration of the Chinese School and its students. The school administration explained that this event aims at cultural and civilizational exchange between the UAE and the People's Republic of China. It also contributes to providing a role model for the students studying the Arabic language at school. They are also pleased to see the interest of the people of the UAE represented by its security authorities in mastering various international languages, including Chinese.

The Chinese School in Dubai is the only school of its kind in the world, with the full support of the Chinese government and in cooperation with the UAE.
