Enhancing Police College Lecturers' Competencies in Collaboration with McGill University

As part of the Ministry of Interior's strategic plan, the General Directorate for Competency Development, in cooperation with the Police College, has launched an advanced teaching skills and higher education program. This initiative is supervised and implemented by the prestigious McGill University in Canada, aiming to develop the capabilities of 25 lecturers from the Police College. The program aligns with the Ministry's future objectives of optimally investing in its human resources, enhancing their qualifications, and improving their skills through best practices and international expertise. The two-year program covers a wide range of topics, including university teaching skills, applications of behavioral economics in education, teaching foreign students, professional talent management, the use of artificial intelligence and technology in education, adaptability in education during crises, and effective guidance skills. Additionally, it includes training courses and exposure to the best local and international practices in the field.
