Dubai Police Dominate Seventh Police Martial Arts Championship in Abu Dhabi
The 7th edition of the Police Mixed Martial Arts Championship witnessed intense competitions, organized by the Police Sports Federation at the Ministry of Interior over two consecutive days, with the participation of athletes representing various sectors of the Ministry of Interior and the general police commands of the state.
The championship drew prominent attendees, including Brigadier Walid Al Shamsi, Commander of the Police College, and Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Association and Chairman of the Sports Committee at the Ministry of Interior, alongside a large presence of officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel.
In the men’s division, the Dubai Police General HQs team secured first place, while Abu Dhabi Police General HQs earned both second and third positions. In the women’s division, Dubai Police also clinched the top spot, followed by the Ministry of Interior team in second place, with Abu Dhabi Police General HQs taking third.
The championship concluded with an official crowning ceremony, where the top three winners were honored. Medals, trophies, and commemorative shields were awarded in recognition of their outstanding performances and spirited participation.
