MOI’s Legal Council Convenes Its Third Meeting of 2025
The Ministry of Interior’s Legal Council convened its third meeting of 2025, chaired by H.E. Brigadier Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Khader Al Zaabi, Director General of Legal Affairs and Chairman of the Council. The meeting was attended by police leaders and senior officers representing various general directorates within the Ministry.
The Council reviewed a wide range of legal matters and issues concerning the Ministry’s organizational units. Discussions focused on updating and developing laws, regulations, bylaws, and ministerial decisions, while also addressing the most pressing challenges faced under the current legislative framework. The Council further examined key policies related to the work of organizational units, with the aim of strengthening efficiency, flexibility, and the legal system’s role in supporting institutional performance.
Highlighting the significance of the occasion, Brigadier Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Khader Al Zaabi noted:
September 13 marks International Law Day, underscoring the law’s role as a cornerstone of justice. On this occasion, the Ministry of Interior reaffirms its commitment to a vision rooted in the rule of law, transparency, and integrity. These values form the foundation for achieving justice, driving institutional development, and advancing the leadership of police work at the national level.
