The Ministry of Interior organizes the “Olympic Boat Rowing” competition coinciding with National Sports Day
As part of the activities of the Sports Season (2024) of the Ministry of Interior, and coinciding with the National Sports Day in its ninth edition under the slogan The UAE Unites Us , the Police Sports Federation, in cooperation and coordination with the General Command of Ajman Police, organized the Olympic Boat Rowing competition, at Al Zorah Beach located in In the Emirate of Ajman, with the participation of a distinguished group of teams representing the general police commands at the state level.
Among the notable attendees were Brigadier Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police General HQs, Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khayal, Director of the Police Association Department and Chairman of the Sports Committee at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Ali Obaid Al Shamsi, Director General of Resources and Support Services, alongside several other officers. The competition featured thrilling contests at both the individual and group levels. In the individual category, Warrant Officer Hamad Saeed Al Matroushi from the Ajman Police General HQs clinched the top spot, followed by Captain Ahmed Khamis Al Hammadi from the Umm Al Quwain Police General HQs in second place, and Warran Officer Yahya Fadel Al Hammadi from the Abu Dhabi Police General Command securing third place. In the group category competitions, the Dubai Police General HQs emerged victorious, securing the first position. The Abu Dhabi Police General HQs (Team A) claimed the second spot, while the Umm Al Quwain Police General HQs secured third place.
