Lt.-Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended in Abu Dhabi the institutional accreditation certificates distribution ceremony for colleges, academies, police and security institutes.
The entities are now accredited by the Security Qualifications Center at the Ministry, thus having the authority to offer and manage police and security qualifications in accordance with the requirements of the professional qualifications system.
Accreditation included the Police College at the Ministry of Interior, Saif bin Zayed Academy in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Police Academy, Sharjah Police Academy, Civil Defense Academy, Security Forces Institute, Institute of Police Sciences and Technology, and the National Security Institute.
The step of institutional accreditation ensures standardized police training and qualification programs in these academies and across general police HQs all over the country. It also raises the efficiency and quality of training outputs in policing and security.
The ceremony was attended by MOI senior officers and heads of Academic Department and colleges.
