MOI's Child Protection Center Delivers Lecture at Rabdan Academy
Rabdan Academy hosted a discussion lecture delivered by the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center, focusing on the UAE’s efforts in child protection and the pioneering initiatives designed to achieve these goals.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Al Kaabi, Director of the Child Protection Center, spoke about the Child Rights Law (Wadeema) and various aspects of child protection, including legislation, policies, and measures aimed at enhancing community security and safeguarding all its members. The lecture, attended by Rabdan Academy students, provided insights into national efforts in this field.
He also shed light on the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center’s role in coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a safe environment for children. Additionally, he discussed the local and international initiatives that bolster child protection, as well as the center’s efforts to enhance the skills and capabilities of professionals working in the field of childhood.
